Fuser has launched a Facebook application
that former MySpace users should really appreciate. The app shows you
your recent MySpace comments, messages, and bulletins, all from within
the Facebook interface. You can’t reply to any of these yet, but Fuser
plans to add that functionality soon. When it does, there might really
be no reason to use MySpace anymore if Facebook is your social network
of choice.
In addition to the interface for viewing your various MySpace
communications, Fuser adds a box to your Facebook profile where you can
see your MySpace comments. This should give the app a big viral boost
as users start to adopt it.
I must admit, the only reason I ever go on MySpace is to check
messages from friends that haven’t yet moved to Facebook, so Fuser’s
app is one of those rare applications that will stay on my profile
post-Mashable review.
The Facebook app should be a great loss leader for Fuser, whose core business is an email aggregator that brings together your various accounts in one interface. Using the app on Facebook requires you to become a Fuser user.
